Live consultation

  1. The revised Code is now open for consultation

A revised, draft Code of Good HE Governance is now out for consultation until 21 June 2017.

The draft is the product of months of consultation and discussion, led by a steering group chaired by Ian Marchant. Staff and student unions, other representatives of those communities, lay governors and others gave the benefit of their experience and perspectives throughout the steering group meetings and in a programme of consultation that allowed for every institution and major stakeholders to input their view.

Share your view

The second consultation stage is an open invitation to comment on the draft. The steering group has not prescribed a specific set of questions. Your views are welcome on any aspect of the content or structure of the draft revised Code.

There are many ways to share your feedback on the Code. You can download and return this response form, sending it to: dan@universities-scotland.ac.uk before the 21 June.

If you would prefer to use surveymonkey to submit your views, which can also guarantee your anonymity, please find this option available at this link: Respond to survey
